The 21-Day Prayer and Fasting is a dedicated time for our congregation to seek God intentionally, deepen our spiritual lives, and prepare our hearts for the new year. Fasting helps us draw nearer to God, renews us from the inside out, and enables us to celebrate His goodness and mercy.

There are several types of fasts you can consider:
Daniel Fast: Removing certain elements from your diet, such as the Daniel Fast, which excludes meat, sweets, and bread, focusing on fruits, vegetables, and liquids.
Partial Fast: Abstaining from food during specific parts of the day, like from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm, or from sunup to sundown.
Complete Fast: Consuming only liquids, typically water and light juices.
Soul Fast: Abstaining from certain activities or habits, such as social media or television, to refocus areas of your life that are out of balance.
Seek God in prayer to determine which type of fast is appropriate for you.

If you have any health concerns or medical conditions, it's important to consult with a healthcare professional before beginning a fast. Consider alternative forms of fasting, such as a soul fast, where you abstain from non-food-related activities.

Preparation is key to a meaningful fasting experience:
Spiritual Preparation: Spend time in prayer, asking God to reveal areas of your nge.
Physical Preparation: Gradually reduce your intake of caffeine and rich foods to prepare your body.
Plan Your Fast: Decide which type of fast you'll undertake and for how long.
Set Clear Objectives: Determine the purpose of your fast, such as seeking God's wisdom, interceding for others, or personal spiritual renewal.
Approaching the fast with intentionality will help you stay focused and committed.
